Good afternoon all - thank you for volunteering to help with the East Grinstead Schools Cross Country Races on Sunday. For those of you available in the morning, please can you meet the race organisers at the pavilion for 0900? For those joining for the afternoon, please can you be at the pavilion for about 1200 where there will be a short briefing. We will also provide you with details of where your support will help the most.
You're welcome to use the lower car park at East Court, but please note that all traffic is then blocked between 1200 until after 1600. Parking around Estcots Drive near the lower car park is also a good place. Matt Rew is the race referee on Sunday.
Please do feel free to cheer and clap the athletes as they run round the course, the encouragement does make a difference.
Please note that the only toilets available are the public toilets in the upper car park by the Mansion House. If anyone asks, please only direct them there.
And finally, for now, we do appreciate all of your help (and yes, if you know someone else available, please encourage them to come along too) and enjoy the day.
